Privacy - personal data is safe in Pcounter 

 

The Pcounter suite is developed to ensure customers offering Pcounter based print services can respects the privacy of users and is committed to protecting personal information. This policy describes how we may collect and use personal information, and the rights and choices available to our visitors and users regarding such information.

 We strongly recommend to the policy which is integrated with our End User License Agreement (EULA) and make sure you fully understand and agree with it, before you access or use any of our services.

 If you do not read, fully understand and agree to this Privacy Policy, you must immediately leave this website, application or service, and discontinue the use of our applications and services. 

GDPR. Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

 

The security of your personal data is important to us - and the same applies to our customers offering Pcounter based print services to users. Therefore, we have added a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) to our subscription terms, which all customers must approve to use our applications and services, our user terms of service (EULA) include a provision to ensure GDPR compliance.

 We use vendors which insures our Data processing addendum is based upon / sub-processors which have DPA´s to ensure GDPR compliance:

  • Microsoft Azure (All data is hosted in Azure Germany)

  • MailChimp (All newsletters are sent from here and e-mails registered as well)

  • Zendesk (Helpdesk system where user data is used for documenting/reproducing issues)

 

​​If you are a Partner or a customer who needs further documentation of compliance with Pcounter acting as a Processor (for example, as a customer who processes their own user's data through Pcounter) you can download and sign our DPA below and return to admin@pcounter-europe.com.

Cookies Privacy Policy

A cookie is a text-only string of information that is stored by your browser when you navigate around a website. 

Cookies are required to use some Pcounter-europe services and are used in the following ways:

 

  • We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

  • When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

  • We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the ServicesTo provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  2. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  3. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  4. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

  • When a user has enabled "Remember Me" a cookie allows the user to access their account without logging in each time. This cookie is removed when the user explicitly logs out.


These cookies contain no personal information, but users shouldn't enable 'Remember Me' when using a publicly-accessible computing device or terminal.
