Pcounter Web Cashier (PWC)

Pcounter Web Cashier (PWC) is a Pcounter software add-on module which allows Pcounter user accounts to be managed by non-technical staff, using a very simple graphical user interface.

Using PWC there is no longer a requirement to run Pcounter Administrator at accounting department workstations to permit admin employees to do daily credit/debit student accounts operations. No administrator rights are required. PWC is working with a simple Web browser.

PWC is installed on the same server where Pcounter software is running. From a web browser, any employee who have been given PWC operator rights with a login and a password, will be able to create Pcounter user accounts, manage Pcounter user accounts, print receipts, view detailed history of all transactions. PWC can perform all Pcounter Administrator user account operations, with added new features like transaction history, transaction export capabilities and printing of customized receipts.

Pcounter Web Cashier in short:

  • PWC is a Web-based program, people in charge of selling copy/print credit to users, or simply to manage user quotas will be able perform these actions without having Pcounter installed on their workstations, which requires System administrator to transfer admin rights to these employees. A Web browser is all that is required.
  • A PWC administrator can create PWC cashier operator accounts, so employees can't modify the PWC setup and configuration, but just cashier operations, deposit or withdrawal, view transactions, print receipts etc.
  • Print customized receipts to users who purchased credit
  • Easy export of transaction history in Microsoft Excel format
  • Multiple languages, supporting virtually all currencies
  • VAT management possible with variable rates
  • PWC is very quick and easy to setup and use

New in Pcounter Web Cashier 2.0:

  • Full support for Pcounter for Netware (requires Pcounter PRO on Netware. On Windows, standard Pcounter for Windows is enough)
  • PWC Administrators can now create user accounts, making it useful in libraries, Internet cafes and similar with anonymous users
