SAP Secure Print

Generally, SAP jobs are printed from the server without any user ID

User will be unique (= all SAP print will be in the Pcounter log under the same user), but for secure release as there is no job owner, we create a popupuser called "SAP" user and we associate a short ID.

If cards is to be used then will customer need to make a special SAP Secure Card/s which only authorized people have, but identification via terminal will also be posible if user knows ID and password.

Delete jobs with Super Puase

When using "SuperPause" its by default a limitation that user can not delete users own print-jobs via the workstation/PC, which otherwise is normal in Pcounter. This is a limitation which do not fit very well in with a Quick Print set-up (User ID at printer and all jobs is released, no interaction with panel), so we have below hidden option in Pcounter.

It works with SuperPause, and you just need to follow below instruction:

This undocumented setting will trigger a popup as soon as the print job hits the server queue.

There is no pre-job page counting etc. before the popup and so you cannot use the Pages and Cost substitutions in the popup embedded message.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Pcounter\Global

To activate, create new DWORD value: FastPopup

Set to 1

(Restart Pcounter Printer Control service)

An easier way of doing it will be to use "Pause" instead of "SuperPause", only limitation with this set-up will be that pup-up will not work. In case customer do not use Pop-up and want to be able to delete own jobs on wokrstation, then use this set-up.
