Pcounter

Pcounter is a print tracking and accounting software that enables your organization to assign costs to projects, departments, students, client account codes or simply monitor the usage on network printers.

Pcounter is a comprehensive network-oriented printer accounting and management software suite, unlike some products which require repetitive and cumbersome software installation on each workstation.

Pcounter will track print jobs from any platform (PC, Mac, Unix etc.) which can print to a NetWare, NDPS, NT, or 2000 print queue. Pcounter integrates everything: accounting, load balancing, and queue management into a single cross-platform interface which works with both Microsoft Windows and Novell NetWare networks simultaneously.

Pcounter is targeted for all type of industries such as Academic, client/project billing, library, general office/business etc.

Pcounter comes in both Netware and Windows versions.

Pcounter PRO

Pcounter Station

Pcounter Station is a print release station which works together with Pcounter. Users or print operator can release print-jobs via Pcounter Station.

The benefit of Pcounter Station is that one Pcounter Station license can service multiple printers, and hereby provide an effective and low cost print on release feature.

Pcounter Station also provides the opportunity to connect card-readers for ID or debit e.g. from IPC, Infineer, Cartadis etc.

Pcounter Station can not support copy, if this is a demand then will Pcounter PRO and Pcounter PRO terminals be the solution.

Pcounter XAuditron (for Xerox)

Pcounter XAuditron is a product specifically for Xerox MFP’s enabling automatic upload of user and client codes to Xerox machines, and download of log files from Xerox machines to Pcounter. User ID and Account codes are entered on the Xerox machine display, and information is added to log information. Supports print, copy, scan and fax.

Pcounter XAuditron can be combined with Pcounter or Pcounter PRO, or operate as a stand alone system.

Pcounter XAuditron is perfect in environments where e.g. project, client or department codes is used, and the need for ID by card is not a demand.

Pcounter XAuditron has support for both Netware and Windows.

Pcounter WebPay (PWP)

Pcounter WebPay is a Web-based service that allows a user to deposit funds with a debit- or credit card, or other Internet-enabled payment methods, to a Pcounter print/copy account via the Internet, easily and conveniently 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from any computer connected to the Internet.

Pcounter WebPay comes with an extra Cashier interface, for administrative staff to deposit or withdraw from Pcounter user accounts, for handling typical cash operations, in a simple to use, controlled and protected environment. And separately a comprehensive administrative interface, with extensive reporting and tracking features, to help cut and control overall print costs.

Pcounter WebPay is an outsourced service, with the WebPay Web site itself hosted on Pcounter WebPay's own servers in a first-class datacenter. It's low-cost, easy to setup, no maintenance. There is no new hardware or software to buy, install, service or maintain, all that is needed to use Pcounter WebPay, is in Pcounter already.

Pcounter WebPay can be used for the Academic sector, but also for the commercial and public sector for reload of credit for use in cafeterias or libraries.

Pcounter WebPay can also be used for the library sector dealing with anonymous users, since users can buy a print and/or copy account via WebPay and without the need of assistance from staff.

Pcounter Web Report (PWR)

PWR provides an easy access to the Pcounter log where all tracking and accounting data is stored, and via PWR then can the data be shown and used as desired by the customer.

PWR is a software product which is installed on the same server as Pcounter (data-server), and when the Pcounter log is copied over to PWR then are the data placed in MySQL database.

PRO Terminals

Terminals for Copy Accounting and Secure Print, which operate together with Pcounter PRO. The terminals can work with all copy and MFP machines which have the needed interface to operate with 3rd party terminals.

A terminal program which supports a broad line of different card technologies on the market such as Magnetic stripe, MiFare, HID, Barcode etc.

PRO terminals also include a line of cash reload stations called Pay2Print, from which students can make deposits directly into Pcounter.
